Simple Cold Fighting Smoothie
Here is a smoothie that is packed with vitamins and cold busting powers!
1 packed cup baby spinach
1 cup ice
1/2 cup water
Put everything into a blender; if using a Vitamix, turn on low, increase speed to 10 and then high. Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth. The finished smoothie is very light, and so refreshing!
Citrus, like tangelos, are full of antioxidants and vitamin C. Spinach is rich in carotenoids, folate, potassium, magnesium, and manganese. Bananas are a good source of fiber, potassium and vitamins C and B6.
